ELGIN, OR – Oregon State Police in Phoenix, Oregon this week arrested Nathan William Crouch on a Union County Warrant charging Failure to Appear, in violation of Taking, Hunting, or Trapping of Wildlife x2. The original charge was for in violation of Hunting with an Artificial Light, and Removal of Parts of a Wildlife Carcass and Wasting Wildlife. Crouch was sentenced after pleading guilty in 2017. The plea was based on an incident in November of 2016 in which Crouch unlawfully shot two bull elk off Yarrington Road near Elgin.
