HARNEY COUNTY-Firefighters and law enforcement responded to a vehicle fire Monday evening after a water tender involved in local firefighting operations caught fire off Hines Logging Road.
According to Harney County dispatch logs from the Harney County Sheriff’s Office, emergency services were alerted to the incident around 7:55 p.m. on Monday, August 3. The caller reported that a water tender operating in the area had caught fire.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Forest Service Road 47 and Forest Service Road 41, roughly situated along Hines Logging Road.
According to dispatch records:
Deputies responded to the scene at approximately 8:38 p.m. to assist with traffic control and assess the situation. Following an inspection of the scene, law enforcement cleared the area around 9:54 p.m.
