Crash on ORE204 results in minor injuries

TOLLGATE – East Umatilla Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a crash on ORE204 Tollgate yesterday morning around 8am. According to reports, the caller said that someone had run off the roadway and couldn’t get out of the vehicle because a tree was against the driver’s side door.
Upon arrival responders determined that the pickup was against tree with the nose deep in snow and the back of the vehicle was up in the tree. According to East Umatilla Fire and Rescue, Multiple airbags were deployed. One patient was extricated out through the front windshield. The patient had minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
