Crane Union School is using a new registration platform for athletes

CRANE-Big changes are coming to Crane Athletics this summer, aimed at streamlining the registration process for families and coaches alike. The Crane School District has officially partnered with FinalForms, a new digital platform that will house all athletic paperwork and eligibility information moving forward.

Starting immediately, all student-athletes in grades 6 through 12 who plan to participate in sports for the upcoming school year must have an account created in the new system.

Action Required for Parents and Guardians

To ensure your student is in the system and cleared to play by the time practices begin, parents must register their athletes as soon as possible.

  • High School Families: If you have an incoming high school student, the registration link was previously included in your online school registration materials.
  • Middle School Families & Quick Access: If you have not yet created an account, you can get started right away by accessing the official setup guide here: FinalForms Parent Registration Playbook.

Note for Rural Educators: Rural school teachers are highly encouraged to share the registration playbook link with any potential middle school sports participants in their classrooms.

New Sports Physical Requirements & Upload Process

With the launch of FinalForms, the district is also reminding families of the annual health requirements. All athletes in grades 6–12 are required to have a sports physical every single year. The days of losing paper forms are over. Once your student’s physical is complete, you will upload the document directly into their FinalForms account. This digital transition will allow athletic staff to track physicals much more efficiently, ensuring no student misses out on clinic time due to missing paperwork.

On-Site Physical Clinics Coming in August

To help families prep for the season, local health providers are bringing their services straight to Crane. Both the Harney District Family Clinic and the Harney County Health Department will be on-site in Crane to conduct sports physicals during the first week of August.

While the clinics will be local, parents must still take the initiative to book their slots:

  • Appointments must be scheduled directly through the providers.
  • Appointments can be booked for either their main locations in Burns or the upcoming mobile clinics in Crane.

More specific details regarding exact dates, times, and contact numbers for the August clinics will be released in the coming weeks. For now, district officials urge families to log in, create their FinalForms accounts, and beat the late-summer rush.
