CPPD to publish weekly arrest log

COLLEGE PLACE – The College Place Police Department, in a continued effort to improve transparency, has introduced a weekly arrest log on its Facebook page.
The log will display the in-custody arrests that occurred in the previous week and the initial first appearance results from the court.
The list will not include any subjects that were cited and released for a misdemeanor crime, only arrests where a subject is booked into the Walla Walla County Jail will be documented.
CPPD said all everything that will be shared is public information.
