PENDLETON – After two years of pandemic-forced absence, the Cowboy Christmas Ball is coming back. One of the organizers, Tim McFetridge, says the night of fun helps many people in the county celebrate Christmas even though times are tough.

“We play secret Santa,” he said. “We distribute those funds throughout the county. We give to the Cancer Society. We give to the Giving Tree. We give to all these different nonprofits.”

The ball will be held at Electric Sundown, the old Elk’s lodge, on Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. It features a full no-host bar, hors d’oeuvres, and live and silent auctions. Music will be provided by The Hankers and DJ Big Wispr will also take the stage. Tickets are available at pendletontickets.com.

In addition the organizers are still looking for live and silent auction items. More information is on the Cowboy Christmas Ball Facebook page.
