ENTERPRISE, OR – The Enterprise School District was notified late Wednesday night that a person in the school community had been diagnosed with COVID-19. The district is working closely with the local and state health authority to respond to this news and protect the health of the community.
Each situation calls for different protocols. In this case, the district will take the following steps:
1. Temporarily closed schools for Thursday, February 25th
2. Work with local and state health authorities, providing them cohort information and contact tracing logs.
3. Begin deep cleaning of classrooms and common areas in the school, manual wiping and disinfecting of surfaces
4. Determine our next steps and response
5. Contact all staff and families with our next steps and plan.
If you or your child is determined to be a close contact, you will be contacted by someone from the local health authority.
The Enterprise School District will keep parents/students updated with any new information as it comes out, while meeting the requirements to honor everyone’s right to privacy.
