WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla Police Department has arrested Brittany Nicole Jones, 37, on suspicion of delivering methamphetamine and other narcotics to the Washington State Penitentiary. She was arrested Aug. 22 after prison staff intercepted her attempting to introduce contraband into the prison while visiting an inmate.

An investigation revealed Jones was transported from Spokane to Walla Walla by Nolan Bryce Reed, 42, of Colbert. Jones told police that if the exchange was successful, she was to receive $1,600 upon her return to Spokane. Reed was also arrested and faces similar charges.

Both were arraigned yesterday (Tuesday) and entered not-guilty pleas in Walla Walla County Superior Court. Reed’s trial is set for Oct. 21 and Jones’ trial is set for Nov. 18.
