UMATILLA COUNTY – The Umatilla County Board of Commissioners meets this morning (Monday) at 9 a.m. One of the agenda items calls for a public hearing on amending fees for certain county services.

The changes include campsite fees at Harris Park. The amendment would make all campsite fees a flat $30 a night and a cabin fee of $40 a night. Currently, two campsites at the park rent for $35 a night while the others are $20. The current cabin fee is $35 per night. The large shelter at Widner Cove currently has varying fees from $75 to $100 a day. That would change to $100 a day. The small shelter rent would go up from $30 a day to $50.

Other items on the agenda include extending ambulance franchise agreements, selling a road grader, purchasing extra surveillance cameras for the Stafford Hansell Governance Center in Hermiston, and approving several contracts to move forward on the Central Pipeline Project.

The meeting is in Room 130 of the Umatilla County Courthouse in Pendleton. The meeting is also accessible via Google Meets. The link is provided on the county’s website.
