PENDLETON – Establishing a revolving fund to help pay for infrastructure for housing development in Pendleton isn’t the only item on the Umatilla County Board of Commissioners meeting agenda this morning (Wednesday) at 9.
Other items include a request from Emergency Management for snow mobiles, purchasing a new boiler for the Guardian Care Center, and making vehicle purchases. Commissioners will also consider awarding a contract to True North Steel Bridge to replace the flood-damaged bridge in Harris Park and asking for proposals for a prefabricated modular steel vehicle bridge for Mac Hoke Road.
The board will also vote on a collective bargaining agreement reached with unionized members of the Umatilla County District Attorney’s Office. The agreement with the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees Local 3742-4 includes a four per cent cost of living increase for each of the contract’s three years.
The meeting will be streamed live on the county website.
