PENDLETON – The Pendleton City Council meets at 7 p.m. today in council chambers. One item on the agenda is a public hearing for a supplemental budget resolution to cover unanticipated funds from Umatilla County for housing development.
The resolution would establish the County Housing Infrastructure Revolving Fund. The Umatilla County Board of Commissioners has approved establishing a revolving fund to assist in paying for infrastructure development in an undeveloped area southeast of the city.
Other items on the agenda include a contract with the Pendleton School District for a school resource officer, awarding patching work to Interstate Concrete & Asphalt, and making an amendment to the library district contract. The council will also vote on approving a 30-year land lease on Northwest A Avenue for Dusty Pace who plans to build another hangar.
