WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla City Council meets tonight (Wednesday) at 6:30 p.m. and will hold a public hearing and consider a resolution adopting the 2025 to 2030 comprehensive transportation plan.
Federal funding agencies require projects to be listed in both the Walla Walla Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization’s transportation plan and the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.
New proposed projects include Main Street from Isaacs Avenue to Ninth Avenue, intersection improvements at Plaza Way and Taumarson Road, and signalization at Second Avenue and Tietan Street.
Tonight’s meeting will be held in council chambers at Walla Walla City Hall and will be streamed live on the city’s website.
