Council to discuss future of Veterans Memorial Golf Course

WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla City Council will hold a work session today (Monday) at 4 p.m. Parks and Recreation Director Andy Coleman will present an update on the Veterans Memorial Golf Course.

A discussion will follow on whether the city should resume golf operations after the current contract with W3 Entertainment ends in 2025. The proposed budget of $1.2 million will be funded entirely by golf revenue, with no increase in the city’s general fund contribution.

Today’s workshop will be held in city council chambers at Walla Walla City Hall. The workshop will also be streamed live on the city’s website.
