COLLEGE PLACE – The College Place City Council will consider an engineering sprinkler contract at tomorrow’s (Tuesday) meeting which begins at 7 p.m.

If passed, the resolution the council will consider will permit City Administrator Mike Rizzitiello to sign an engineering agreement with JUB Engineers for $85,000 to design an irrigation system for new street trees along the Whitman Drive multi-use path by Martin Airfield.

The project is being funded by a $730,000 grant from the U.S. Forest Service to improve the city’s urban tree canopy through various means.

Tomorrow night’s meeting will be held in council chambers at College Place City Hall and will be live streamed on the city’s YouTube channel.
