PENDLETON – The Pendleton City Council holds a work session at 6:30 p.m. today (Tuesday). There’s only one item on the agenda, which is a continued discussion on the council’s four goals.
Those goals are easing the housing crisis; improving streets and other infrastructure; bettering economic development; and improving the city’s communication with its citizens. The discussion actually began at a work session last month. Because the goals are so broad, council members felt success is difficult to measure.
“We’re going to try and further define how we might do these things and define whether or not we’re making progress,” Mayor John Turner said in an earlier interview.
The meeting in city council chambers is available via Zoom. The meeting ID is 848 8298 2122 and the pass code is 248854.
