Council accepts state grant for streetlight installation

COLLEGE PLACE – The city of College Place has recently accepted a grant from the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board of about $480,000 to install new pedestrian streetlights along Rose Street between Ash Avenue and Carey Court.

City Administrator Mike Rizzitiello said the new streetlights will be installed between the roadway and multi-use path. He adds that the project must be substantially completed by the end of this calendar year

The streetlights being installed are like those installed on College Avenue and Fourth Street.
