Location: 15 miles southwest of Long Creek
Fuels: Grass, juniper, timber
Update:
The fire remains within the existing footprint with no new growth observed overnight. Acreage may be adjusted as more accurate mapping becomes available.
Operations:
Firefighters are monitoring and reinforcing established line and continuing mop‑up where conditions allow. Crews are also conducting snagging operations and addressing pockets of fuel that still have potential to burn.
Weather:
Winds are expected to remain below 12 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph. Elevated fire‑weather conditions persist, and crews remain prepared for changes in fire behavior.
