Convenient and safe ways to dispose of your unwanted expired or unused medications

UNION COUNTY – Did you know that you don’t have to wait until an official “Drug Takeback Day” to safely dispose of your unwanted, unused or expired medications?  Union County has multiple ways in which you can dispose of these items. 

Drop-off locations include but are not limited to the Grande Ronde Hospital Pharmacy and La Grande Police Department. 

Pre-paid envelopes are also available for pickup.  Ask staff members at any of the locations below for an envelope. 

All you need to do is remove any identifying information from the prescriptions, put the medications into the envelope, seal, and send.
