Construction projects may slow your travels this week

EASTERN OREGON – Construction of the new retaining wall at the Starkey end on Highway 244, milepost 36 was completed last week.  Base aggregate and asphalt pavement will be placed next week, followed by the installation of guardrail. Traffic will be controlled with the temporary traffic signals during non-work hours and by flaggers during working hours.  Delays of 10 to 15 minutes can be expected at all times.

Work on I-84 from MP 237.5 to MP 241.5 next week:

Placement of reinforcement for the new concrete pavement will continue this week.  Concrete paving will start mid-week.  Bridge work at Exit 238 and the bridge over the railroad will continue all week.

Please remember that the speed limit through the work zone will remain 50 MPH.
