Construction Notice for Burns and Hines curb ramp upgrades

BURNS & HINES-Sidewalk curb ramp upgrades project in Burns and Hines are to meet current ADA standards. Visit ODOT ADA webpage for more information at https://www.oregon.gov/odot/About/Pages/ADA.aspx. The project maps for both cities are located on the webpage and also at each city hall.

Construction is expected to begin in late March/early April 2024. The anticipated project completion is October 2024. the schedule and locations are subject to change.

Crews will work in Burns from Pierce to Broadway, south side of the Highway, then Broadway back to Pierce, north side of the highway.

Crews will work in Hines from Jamison to Lottery Lane, west side of the Highway.

During construction, you can expect the following impacts: Intermittent shoulder and lane closures with flaggers. Access to businesses will remain open during construction and all pedestrians will have access through or around work zones.
