UNION COUNTY – Four dead calves have been confirmed as wolf depredations according to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. In a recent investigation report that was issued, it was noted that the first of two investigations took place on Christmas Day and involved new wolves in the Catherine Creek WMU. The second investigation took place on December 29th and also involved new wolves in the Catherine Creek WMU. Both depredations took place in Union County in the High Valley area on private land.
