WALLA WALLA COUNTY – Comprehensive Healthcare will launch its youth mobile outreach program in Walla Walla County starting June 1.

Team members will respond 24/7 when someone aged 17 and younger calls the mental health crisis line or the 988 line, or experiences a crisis at school, the emergency room, or any healthcare provider clinic.

The team serves as a first responder, providing short-term support to de-escalate situations, coaching them with coping skills and connecting youth and family to services for their ongoing needs.

The youth mobile outreach program launched in Benton and Franklin counties in December 2022 and within its first six months, served 317 individuals and families with 1,788 services.

In Walla Walla County, services for children, youths, and families are provided by Comprehensive Healthcare at 1520 Kelly Place in Walla Walla.
