BAKER CITY – Community partners including the Baker County Safe Communities Coalition, New Directions Northwest and the Baker County Sheriff’s Office were able to put together winter carekits recently for those in need. According to information from the Baker County Safe Communities Coalition, the kits include blankets, gloves, hats, toiletry items, protein snacks and more.
The winter carekits are designed for anyone who may need a little help in time of need. Citizens are encouraged to create their own kits and carry them in their vehicles. You never know when you or someone else could use help.
