Community Kindness of Eastern Oregon receives Façade Restoration Grant

LA GRANDE – Thanks to a Façade Restoration Program Grant from La Grande Main Street Downtown Community Kindness of Eastern Oregon in downtown La Grande will soon have a new look at the front of the building. Liz Meyer with Community Kindness says the final design will bring some wonderful color and culture to the building.
Work is scheduled to begin this morning, Friday, August 6. There will be no parking in the front of the store on Adams Ave or on the side close to N. Fir & Adams while work is being done.
Meyer says she is thankful for the grant and is excited to see the finished upgrade and encourages everyone to drive by and watch the upgrades throughout the weekend.
