Community Kindness of Eastern Oregon donates toys and game to Greenwood

LA GRANDE – Recently, requests were made for fun activities and play equipment that could be used at Greenwood Elementary in La Grande.  Items requested included things that could be stored in bins when not in use or that could withstand weather such as:

•Mega blocks or giant Legos

•Sidewalk Chalk

•Playhouses

•Big Wheels

•Little Tikes Basketball Hoops and more. 

Liz Meyer at Community Kindness of Eastern Oregon saw this request and decided to do what she does best, help the community. 

A donation of several items was donated to Greenwood including play structures, basketball hoop, Tonka Trucks and more.  

In a post on the Community Kindness of Eastern Oregon facebook page, Liz noted said that “I hope the kids at Greenwood get many hours of fun with the toys & games we bought them. 😊

Community Kindness of Eastern Oregon is a non-profit organization operating a thrift store that uses its profits to assist individuals & organizations within the community.
