HALFWAY — Volunteers are invited to spruce up the newest park within the Baker County Parks family. There will be a community cleanup day at the Halfway Wigwam this Saturday, April 26th beginning at 9 a.m.
Last month, the Baker County Commission voted in favor of purchasing the old wigwam burner just south of town. A barbecue lunch will be provided after the cleanup, beginning around 12 p.m.
Volunteers are asked to bring sturdy boots, gloves, a chair, and yard tools to the community cleanup effort.
