LONG CREEK – Grant County Emergency Management recently posted photos to social media of progress being made on a communications improvement project out of Long Creek. Grant County Commissioner Sam Palmer noted that the improvements are made possible by monies from the American Recue Plan Act:
“The ARPA dollars came through and it sounds like we’re going to actually be able to communicate in Grant County. [We’ll be able to] actually talk to people in the Monument area—our officers, or search and rescue or people that need communication…those dollars are going to be there to help that out.”
The improvements out of Long Creek are underway thanks to a partnership between Grant County and private sector Telecom.
