UMATILLA COUNTY — The Umatilla County Board of Commissioners meets at 9 tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. The agenda includes a vote on the proposed 1.34-acre expansion of the Hermiston Enterprise Zone. That expansion was approved by the Hermiston City Council on Monday.
The commissioners are also expected to issue changes in the COVID-19 mandates for county buildings, lifting the indoor masking requirements beginning March 12. County facilities will be open to full access beginning March 12. Regulations regarding state courts will be issued separately.
Other items on the agenda include the purchase of a road grader, a presentation by the Walla Walla Basin Watershed Council, and signing a roofing contract for the maintenance building with Palmer Roofing.
