WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla County Board of Commissioners meets at 11 a.m. today (Tuesday). The meeting is streamed live on the commissioners’ page of the county website.
The board will hear an update on the U.S. 12 Nine Mile to French Glen Improvement Plan. The completion date for that project is the summer of 2023.
They will also consider a proposal to offer the administrative director of the Walla Walla County Department of Community Health a salary that’s above the mid-range level.
Fair Manager Greg Lybeck will report on a number of items for the fairgrounds. The fairgrounds rental income for the prior year was more than $177,000 and the projected loss on rentals for January through April will be almost $81,000.
