COLLEGE PLACE – College Place Police Chief Troy Tomaras announced Tuesday the city has a new tool to improve traffic safety within the community.
“The city has recently acquired a new radar trailer that we’ll be able to deploy throughout the city to help remind drivers to slow down,” he said.
Tomaras said the police department has found the speed radar trailer works very well in slowing drivers down.
The $11,749 trailer was a budgeted purchase as it replaces an aging trailer that could no longer be serviced.
