PENDLETON – (News release from TETWP) The Pendleton Round-Up Tough Enough To Wear Pink (TETWP) campaign received a generous donation this week from ClickIt RV in Milton-Freewater, thanks to RV sales made in support of the cause.
ClickIt RV Logistics Manager Brian McHugh and RV Sales Consultant Monica Martinez-Gonzalez presented TETWP Co-Chairs Jill Gregg and Casey White-Zollman with a $3,000 check on Wednesday (Nov. 13, 2024), following a month and a half of sales-driven contributions. A portion of every RV sold at ClickIt RV from TETWP Day at the Pendleton Round-Up on Sept. 12 through the end of October – Breast Cancer Awareness Month – was earmarked for the TETWP campaign.
This marks the third consecutive year ClickIt RV has supported TETWP.
“We’re incredibly grateful for ClickIt RV’s ongoing commitment to TETWP,” said White-Zollman. “Their partnership has been invaluable, and their generosity makes a real difference in the lives of local breast cancer patients and survivors. It’s truly a pleasure to work with such a dedicated team.”
TETWP works to raise awareness for breast cancer while providing financial support to local patients and survivors. The campaign donates 100% of its proceeds to three local organizations that directly aid individuals battling breast cancer: CHI St. Anthony Hospital’s Cancer Clinic, the Eastern Oregon Cancer Network, and the Kickin’ Cancer New Beginnings program. These organizations offer a range of services, from providing breast prosthetics and lymphedema sleeves to offering housing assistance for patients undergoing radiation therapy and free wellness programs for those in remission.
The TETWP campaign is nearing the conclusion of its 2024 fundraising efforts, with plans to announce the final contribution totals towards the end of the month. Funds are raised through merchandise sales, donations made on TETWP Day at the Pendleton Round-Up, sponsorships, and raffle proceeds.
