Classic Cars and Community Spirit! Elkhorn Eagles #3456 Hosts 2nd Annual Car Show

BAKER CITY, OR — Beautiful classic rides and community support took center stage this past weekend at the 2nd Annual Elkhorn Eagles #3456 Car Show. Held on June 27, 2026 in Baker City, the event brought together automotive enthusiasts and local residents for a day of celebration, competition, and giving back. All proceeds from the event directly support the Local Eagles Scholarship Fund, investing in the future of local youth.

This year, the Elkhorn Eagles proudly awarded three local students with scholarships worth $1,500.00 each to help fund their continuing education. While the scholarship is open to all students throughout Baker County, this year’s deserving recipient were Jaden Allen Charlton, Everado Ibarra, and Claire Bechman, all from Baker City.

This years car show brought in $3,010.00 that is slated to be handed out to the next round of scholarship applicants.

Top honors of the day went to Doug Keller, who took 1st place with a 1940 Ford 2-door Deluxe, followed by Richard and Debby Comstock in 2nd place with a 1940 Ford Deluxe. 3rd place was awarded to Bud and Sandy Scott for their 1956 Ford F-100 pickup, 4th place went to Lee and Lorna Swiger with a 1953 Buick Special, and the top motorcycle award was presented to Cory Deshirlia.
