City of Sumpter issues alert to citizens about studded tires

SUMPTER – It may technically be spring, but winter weather and adverse road conditions continue to loom. Due to this continuation of winter weather, the City of Sumpter is letting citizens know that the sheriff’s department advised citizens to leave their studded tires on until they feel comfortable without them, even though the deadline to have them removed was last week.
