PRAIRIE CITY – City Recorder for Prairie City, Shonalie Oaks, was recently on KJDY’s Coffee Time and said the town will be looking to make some improvements in their parks and recreation:
“I got a notification, I believe it was last week, that we were awarded a planning grant for parks and rec. We’ll have more details on that coming up in October. We will be having town halls and really be wanting to connect with the community and the people in Prairie to see what you would like to see.”
Some of the suggestions Oaks has heard so far include a paved walking path or a pond. We’ll know more in October.
