LA GRANDE – (Release from the City of La Grande) The City of La Grande is seeking volunteers to serve on the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission is advisory to the City Council and is currently working on City code changes to promote and encourage the development of new housing. The Commission is also responsible for the design review and approval of subdivisions and other land use projects throughout the community. If you are a resident of La Grande or live within the City’s Urban Growth Boundary, please consider becoming a member of the Planning Commission and helping to shape the future of your community.
