JOHN DAY – According to a post from the City of John Day Government’s social media, John Day received the “Under Construction” Recognition Award recently at the 8th Annual Oregon Brownfields and Infrastructure Conference in Bend. The award recognized the outstanding achievements of the city of John Day for the redevelopment of the former Oregon Pine mill site and numerous other projects currently under construction.
