City of Huntington receives supply donation from Fruitland Fire

HUNTINGTON — Small communities helping one another is the epitome of the west, and the fire department in Fruitland, ID carried on that western courtesy to the City of Huntington, who are currently under a Level 2, BE SET evacuation advisory.
On the evening of Sunday, July 26th, residents of Huntington were placed in a Level 3, GO NOW evacuation zone. On Tuesday., July 28th, residents were able to return home following a downgrade to “Level 2” status.
During the “hustle and bustle” of it all, neighbors from across the state line and the Snake River from the Fruitland Fire Department donated supplies to the city benefitting firefighters hard at work.
Huntington city officials stated, “The City of Huntington would like to thank the Fruitland Fire Department for their donation of supplies to the firefighters working the Fox Fire in the area.
We are so lucky to have such great support from our neighbors in Idaho! Thank you again!”
