City of Hines hosts community movie night at Hines City Park Amphitheater

HINES-Local Harney County residents are invited to gather under the stars this evening as the City of Hines hosts a free outdoor Movie Night in the Park.

The community event takes place tonight, Friday, August 21st, at the Hines Park Amphitheater. Showtime is scheduled to begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. as dusk settles over the park.

Tonight’s featured film is the hit 2000 sports drama Remember the Titans, starring Denzel Washington. The family-friendly movie follows the inspiring true story of a newly integrated high school football team in 1971 Virginia overcoming adversity to unit their community.

Event organizers encourage attendees to arrive early to secure a spot on the lawn. Community members should bring low-back lawn chairs, cozy blankets, and warm layers to stay comfortable throughout the outdoor screening.
