City of Cove will hold elections for Mayor and three Council members this fall

COVE – The City of Cove will be holding elections this fall with the purpose of electing a mayor and three Council Members for the City of Cove.
The following Public Notice has been issued in its entirety by the City of Cove
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday November 8, 2022, an Election will be held for the purpose of electing a Mayor and three Council members for the City of Cove.
This position of Mayor is a two-year term, and the positions of City Councilors are four-year terms.
To qualify as a candidate for Mayor or City Councilor, you must be a qualified elector and have resided in the City of Cove during the twelve months immediately preceding the election you are filing for.
Election packets can be picked up during office hours Monday through Thursday between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm at the Cove City Hall, 504 Alder, Cove, Oregon.
All petitions need to be in the CITY OF COVE Office at 504 ALDER, COVE BY NOON ON AUGUST 8, 2022.
