City Manager says John Day is ‘on track’ with wastewater treatment project

JOHN DAY – The City of John Day will be holding an open house next week for their wastewater treatment project. John Day City Manager Melissa Bethel informed our listeners the last time she was on Coffee Time:

“We’ve got our Wastewater Treatment Plant Project on track. Open house on March 25^th. That is going to be the place for the community to see what’s happening, where we are, what it’s going to look like.”

It’ll be Tuesday, March 25^th at the John Day Fire Hall. Bethel said there will be several times throughout the day to swing by and check things out. According to the city’s website, the following are the times for Tuesday’s open house:

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
