PENDLETON – The Pendleton City Council will vote on the budget for the coming fiscal year at its meeting this evening (Tuesday) at 7. The spending plan totals more than $103 million dollars and was approved by the Pendleton Budget committee on May 11.
The council will also accept its financial audit by Dickey and Tremper. The city is also being asked to approve actions that address corrective actions for areas that concerned the auditor. Those areas are discussed in depth in the council agenda which can be accessed at the council’s agenda which is posted on the calendar of the city’s website.
Also under new business, the council will begin consideration of a grant to Pendleton Children’s Center. The funding would allow it to accommodate a shortage in daycare spaces due to the unanticipated closure of Room to Bloom last month.
The public is welcome to attend the meeting in council chambers. It is also available on Zoom. The meeting ID is 837 1737 8791 and the pass code is 545667.
