HERMISTON – The Hermiston City Council meets tonight (Monday) at 7 at the Hermiston Community Center on Highway 395. A couple of housekeeping items are on the agenda.
The council will consider what are termed minor changes to the sewer code to bring it into alignment with state regulations. The council will also vote on making a payment on just under $56,000 debt service for the establishment of the Greater Hermiston Enterprise Zone. That payment was inadvertently omitted when the 2020-21 budget was put together.
The council will also hear a presentation of the financial audit for the 2020 fiscal year, and will vote on whether to accept it.
The community center has been closed to the public due to the latest COVID-19 regulations. The public may view the meeting on the city’s YouTube channel.
