ENTERPRISE, OR – (Information provided by the City of Enterprise) During the latest Enterprise City Council meeting a Resolution on the City of Enterprise was discussed on dispersing of American Rescue Plan Act Funding in the General Fund. Lacey McQuead, City Administrator explained that there were place holders set in General Fund, Water Fund, and Sewer Fund, during the 2021-2022 budget season. The prior ARPA Committee recommended expending a portion of the funds (last June) for purposes of upgrading the Enterprise Police Department’s computers/computer system. Resolution No. 675 allows for the expenditure of $32,794.87 for new Toughbook Computers for all officers, as well as mounting brackets for the vehicles and docking stations for the offices. The quote also includes a new server. Mayor Sullivan read Resolution No. 675. A Councilor asked about the approval of the expenditures without the current ARPA committee review. McQuead explained that this was approved by the ARPA committee and recommended during budget season. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any idea of the cost associated with the system, so line items were placed within the budget as general line items and not as specific amounts/specific department budgeted expenditures. With no further discussion, the resolution was passed.
