VALE — Parole and Probation Officer Cindy Lootens has retired from the Malheur County Sheriff’s Office after 19 years of service. Lootens joined in 2006, and MCSO personnel referred to her as “the starting point” to the members of the Sheriff’s Office, as well as clients received from the courts.
Malheur County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Harding stated, “Congratulations to Cindy Lootens on her retirement from Malheur County Sheriff’s Office Parole & Probation Division! Cindy has always been a dedicated employee and an expert in her field. Parole and Probation will have lost ‘one of the good ones’ with Cindy’s retirement, not only due to her dedication, but who she is as a person. Cindy’s infectious laugh and positive outlook set the tone of the office, which is worth its weight in gold. Thank you Cindy for your 19 years of service!”.
Officer Lootens’ last day of service was September 30th. Prior to that, the Sheriff’s Office held a retirement celebration and presented her with a plaque, honoring her service.
