Christopher Stock named Vice President, Saint Alphonsus Health System Community Health and Well-Being

OREGON/IDAHO – (Release from Saint Alphonsus) Christopher Stock has been named Vice President, Community Health and Well-Being for the Saint Alphonsus Health System.  He moves into the role from his position as Director of Population Health and Quality for the Health System, which serves communities in Idaho and Oregon.  He begins in his new role today.

Stock will lead the community health and well-being initiatives for the health system with the primary goal of engaging with community leaders, colleagues and partners to transform health experiences and outcomes for patients and communities the health system serves in Southwestern Idaho and Eastern Oregon.

“The pandemic has highlighted the critical role that community health and outreach to underserved populations plays in ensuring quality of life.  Christopher brings a passion for improving healthcare delivery, mental health, and collaboration to this position and I’m confident he’ll help Saint Alphonsus meet its mission of being a compassionate and transforming healing presence in our communities,” said Odette Bolano, President and CEO of the Saint Alphonsus Health System.

Stock joined Saint Alphonsus in October 2015 as Manager of Population Health, earning promotion to Director of Population Health and Quality in December 2017.  Before working at Saint Alphonsus, he worked for Molina Healthcare in Long Beach, CA and Salt Lake City, as well as the University of Utah Department of Pediatrics in Salt Lake City and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire.

Prior to moving into administrative roles, he has served as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Case Manager.  He earned his Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics and a Master of Social Work from the University of Utah and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire.
