Burns-Christmas is coming to the City of Burns. Yes they know we aren’t to Thanksgiving yet but there are some important update and accouchements for the Christmas Jamboree 2023.
After much planning and consideration for safety, tradition, and festive spirits, the city has decided to plan a live tree (delivered and planted yesterday) on city owned property that will grow with our community for years to come! With that said, the Holiday festivities and tree lighting will take place at Triangle Park and the bonfire will be held near Memorial Field.
In order to make this possible, the Christmas Light Parade will reverse its direction still lining up on Alder and beginning at Madison Street near the Historic Central Hotel! The parade route will travel North up Broadway and end on Foley Drive at the bonfire.
The City of Burns hopes that everyone can make it Saturday, December 9th. Festivities start in the morning and the parade starts at 5:30pm and the bonfire will wrap up the night.
