BAKER COUNTY — The Baker County Health Department recently put out a reminder that February 19th is School Exclusion Day in Oregon, meaning if a student is not up to date on their required vaccines by February 19th, they will not be allowed to attend school—with some exceptions. BCHD made note that the agency participates in the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. Under the VFC, any child can get their vaccines regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

If a student needs to get caught up on vaccines, they can do so at the Baker County Health Department or at the Baker High School Health Center. For more information, call BCHD at (541) 523-8211.
