Chief Joseph Days Rodeo in the top 5 running for medium rodeo of the year

JOSEPH – The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) recently announced the top five nominees for rodeo and rodeo personnel of the year. This listing constitutes the national finalists for the small, medium, large indoor, and large outdoor rodeos of the year along with individual persons of the year such as announcer, bullfighter, and clown.

Currently sitting among the final five for the medium rodeo category is Wallowa County’s very own Chief Joseph Days Rodeo. Competing with them for the title of top medium rodeo in the nation for 2023 are Weatherford, Texas, Red Lodge, Montana, Guymon, Oklahoma, and Claremore, Oklahoma. The online ballot for the 2023 rankings will remain open through Sunday, October 29, with the final ranking set to be announced during the PRCA Awards Banquet December 6, at 6:00 P.M.
