Chef burned in kitchen fire at Waitsburg bar and grill

WAITSBURG – A kitchen fire Sunday at Whiskey C Bar and Kitchen off U.S. 12 in Waitsburg injured a chef, who suffered burns on his hands and arms.

According to a Facebook post on the business website, the chef managed to extinguish the fire after a propane leak caused an explosion. No further information on his condition or injuries was released.

The business is temporarily closed for cleanup and equipment replacement.
