GRANT COUNTY – As we wrap up National Volunteer Week, folks may be wondering how they can put their volunteer efforts to use locally. A great place to look for those opportunities is the Facebook page, Volunteer Grant County, OR. Economic Development Director Tory Stinnett explains a little about it:
“If you want to volunteer for something you can make a post. If you’re looking for volunteers, make the post or we’re happy to do it for you. It’s just another great tool to use to get information out there.
Folks that have their different charities, if they’re looking for volunteers to help set things up like that we’re happy to post that on the page too.”
